The Challenge

Gender And Development Action is a not-for-profit entity whose core mission is to advance the rights and development of women, girls and young persons in Nigeria. The organisation which was setup in 1996, aspires to become a ‘framework organization’ which means that they have strong internal systems to enable them plan, coordinate and maximise their growth and sustainability. To do this, they have to undergo a strategic and structural transformation which enables them develop a comprehensive organizational strategy, policies and monitoring and evaluation standard.

The SOLUTION

We worked with key members of the organization to carry out coaching and training services intended to help them strengthen internal systems, increase impact and credibility, and create opportunities to raise funds which is linked to a strong understanding of the principles of project management. Our work led to the development of a 5 year vision and an operational frameworks guiding project delivery, planning, internal processes recruitment, project budgeting, financial management and governance structure.
